These city-themed designs are all original and painted by hand. Each city is thoroughly researched, then one by one each iconic sight is painted in watercolor. The individual portraits are then put together to create a unique “skyline,” capturing both the most recognizable and the more nuanced sights of the city.

Today I'm taking you backstage, on a (literal) whirlwind tour into the process of how exactly I create a Cityscape. You may know that my first Cityscape came about a little by accident... it actually started as a save the date design commission for a sweet Huntsville bride.
